Changchun, China
1 million sf (94,000 m2)
Located in a fashionable area of the city, across from a major park, this 35-story building houses 408 residential condominiums, a fitness center, restaurant, roof garden and multipurpose rooms. Underground parking for approximately 200 cars, a large landscaped garden with a reflecting pond, a pavilion and a children’s play area are also included on the site.

The building addresses these life-style changes by providing larger living spaces, luxury amenities and the latest technological innovations, while respecting the environment, Chinese traditions and the principles of Feng Shui. Some of the building’s innovative features include:

Living rooms and master bedrooms oriented towards the south for natural light, warmth, and good health/fortune; building configuration maximizes privacy, views and natural cross-ventilation for all units; generous glass enclosed balconies/solariums provide natural light and passive solar heat gain during the winter months and sun shading during the summer; primary and secondary entrances to each unit separate resident/guest functions from service functions; multiple elevator/stair cores serving only two units per floor eliminate corridors and increase privacy; larger kitchens opening directly to the dining area reflect evolving cultural and social changes.
